Kyra Minton was born in the city of New York, and is an American actor. The role she played as the main character on the TV show "The Closer it is well-known across the world and in America specifically. Sedgwick had a passion for performing, acting, and Broadway since she was only twelve years old. Her introduction to Broadway through her mother who was a Broadway fanatic. Sedgwick had her first stage performance at the age of 16, when she appeared in "Another World," which was the TV series. While she started out with small-time roles for television however, it was the notion of being an actress that caught her attention. First, her support role in the Tom Cruise-starring movie Born on the Fourth of July turned her into a star on the big screen. Following the popularity of the movie, Sedgwick got more roles in films like "Singles," "Heart & Souls", 'Phenomenon' among others. Sedgwick met Kevin Bacon in a TV show named Lemon Sky. She married Kevin at 22. Sedgwick has made a mark on American TV with her easy acting. The Closer ran for 7 seasons and won her many awards like the Golden Globe.
